Dr. Rupesh Mishra’s special interests are Clinical Genetics, Genetics of Hematological Malignancies, Cancer Genetics, Genomic Medicine and Genomic Education. He provides clinical care, genetic counseling and testing services at the Civil Service Hospital of Nepal. He offers genetic counseling training to Gynecology and Obstetrics PG students at Civil Service Hospital from the National Academic of Medical Science. He also offers genetic counseling services at Norvic International Hospital.

He is actively involved in different national and international research projects. He has contributed to different research projects on facial dysmorphology conducted by NIH. He is an active member of G2MC and currently working as a panel of experts for RDI.

He has written the genetic chapter of the National Guideline for Hemoglobinopathies in Nepal. He is involved in local and international advocacy for rare diseases.

He is currently an assistant secretary of the Academic Council of Civil Service Hospital. He is also actively promoting genomic medicine training programs for healthcare workers in the country.
